POWER. Multinational companies: improving workers’ expertise on financial and non-financial information to foster their rights.

The project co-funded by the European Union (VS/2021/0066) and coordinated by Sindnova starts from a transnational study carried out in the countries involved in the project (Italy, Spain, North Macedonia, Bulgaria and the Netherlands), on the impact of strategic information and on employee involvement practices in companies. In this phase, five information sheets (National Factsheets) will be produced by the project partners in the original language and translated into English.The project aims to strengthen these rights starting from the analysis of the reasons why they are limited and facilitating the dialogue between the social partners and identifying innovative solutions to improve and stimulate national and European regulation on the subject.The project will focus on providing trade union representatives with the appropriate information and skills to help them read and interpret corporate strategy documents and economic/financial/sustainable information. Once the research phase is over, the target group will participate in organizational training modules in Sofia and Madrid with the aim of sharing the results of the study phase conducted in each country, carrying out training and information sessions, exchanging experiences and good practices and involving employee and/or employer representatives.A final Conference will be organized in Amsterdam during which the Handbook elaborated by Sindnova based on the national reports will be presented.
